COVID Protocol
Patient requirements/Health screening
I require all patients who come to the clinic for treatment to please
wear a mask. I have spares for those who forget. This ensures the safety
of all patients and the sports practitioner. However, if you are
currently using Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs), please do a test before
attending your appointment. If the test is positive, I will reschedule
your appointment for 7-10 days after testing positive.
I will be monitoring my own health by regular use of LFTs and mask
wearing within the clinic.
Adapting or restricting treatments
If you are not currently using LFTs, you will be required to wear a mask during close contact treatments that may need to be adapted accordingly to maintain safety, such as treatments to the face, scalp and neck.
Enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures
Enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures between patients, which
includes handwashing and disinfecting any non-porous surfaces and
therapy equipment, such as chairs, couches and door handles, and
replacing non-porous or single-use items, such as towels and couch roll.
Strict personal hygiene measures will also be adhered to, including
regular hand washing/sanitising.
Ventilating the room before and after each patient. A HEPA filter will
be running during treatment sessions.
Cancellation of treatments
If a treatment is cancelled or deferred due to COVID or you have
symptoms of COVID, or you have been in close contact with someone who
has tested positive for COVID any standard cancellation fees will be
waived.
The patient will be kindly asked to confirm in writing or by email that
their appointment has been cancelled or deferred because of COVID.
