During my degree I designed a project to reduce the likelihood of falls in older adults. This came about because at the time I had a few older, female, clients who lived on their own and I wanted to design an exercise protocol to help them remain independent.
‘Tanith’s Protocol’ consists of 3-4 tasks which can be performed twice a day and should take no longer than waiting for the kettle to boil. There is no need for specialist equipment or clothing.
The project was very successful and as a result I have handed out ‘Tanith’s Protocol’ to many of my clients and received positive feedback on the results (“I no longer have to lean on the wall to put trousers on!”)
If you feel you would benefit from either remedial work
to restore balance, or preventative work to maintain balance, please ask
about ‘Tanith’s Protocol’.
Now I have my own therapy room, I can provide more support with regards
to one-to-one sessions to assist client ongoing progress.
